When Nancy was named the 1989 winner of the Suffolk County Performing Artist of The Year ~ R.B. Stuart of “Hampton’s Online” wrote:
Nancy Remkus is a third generation Sag Harbor native and elementary school teacher. She is also a singer, songwriter and performer. Her style is a blend of Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, and throw in a dash of the 1970’s show, The Electric Company and a pinch of Mr. Rogers, and you have the 1989 winner of the Suffolk County Performing Artist of The Year, for her sell out debut album, “Local Girls”.
ANNOUNCING THE RELEASE OF HER 4TH CD IN THE FALL OF 2015,
NANCY IS PLEASED TO SHARE A DOUBLE CD TITLED:
“SONGS FOR GROWING ~
